Departing at 8. 30 am from your hotel, we are heading towards Tunjuk village to experience Bali’s village life and traditional farming. You will spend a half – day in this rural area to understand deeper Bali’s agricultural community way of life. You will witness up close on how Balinese prepare their “intricate but artistic “ daily offering at their own residence, of course they would be more than happy to give you a short demonstration and let you do it yourself under their guidance if you would. You will learn as well the unique lay-out and typical architecture of local house before walking towards their rice field called sawah , where local farmers have been waiting in the field to show you traditional method of rice cultivation including plowing and planting, and for sure, they will invite you to get involved in the activities if you desire to do it.
A Balinese authentic food “ Nasi Campur” is served for your lunch nearby in local pavilion after the rice field activities. After lunch, next visit is Taman Ayun Royal Family Temple, a great place to marvel the ancient hindu temples architecture features throughout its courtyard. The temple is established on a piece of landmass in the middle of an artificial lake full of lotus. It dates back to the 17 century and classed as the world cultural heritage by Unesco since 2012. We proceed then to Tanah lot Temple, A Hindu temple famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops, Built in the 15th century by a great Hindu priest called Dang Hyang Nirartha who travelled to Bali in 1489 to spread Hinduism. the present location of the temple was the priest’s former meditational site and the shrines built on it, are dedicated to the god of the sea “ BARUNA”. Night in Tanah Lot.
we will meet you at the lobby hotel after breakfast and leave for Belimbing village. It offers magnificent view of expanse rice terrace with mount Batukaru as a backdrop.it is located on 500 – 600 meters above sea level, hence it has cool temperature and a peaceful atmosphere. Here, you will do 2 hours trekking passing through the paddy field, tropical fruit plantation including Durian, coffee, clove, rambutan, mangosteen and much more. You might also encounter local farmer working in the field either planting or plowing or harvesting their rice. In other words, in this countryside we will bring you to explore pure nature in a serene atmosphere combined with picturesque landscape.
After lunch, we then proceed to Air panas banjar , a natural hot spring surrounded by lush jungle and river views. The hot springs has several pool filled with milky, white warm water (approximately 36 degree celcius) that flow from a natural hot spring and pour out of eight fountains in the form of Naga( mythical snake) faces, in to the first pool. This pool then overflows via the mouth of five other Naga into a larger pool that has various depths of 1 m, 1.5 m and a2 m. here you can relax your tense muscles after walking for hours in the previous village before going to Pemuteran village. Night in Pemuteran.
The first half of the day would be free in Pemuteran. We highly recommend you to do snorkeling as optional activity at Menjangan Island , part of west Bali’s national park. The activity will be organized based on request!.
Menjangan Island is a snorkling paradise for both beginners and more advanced snorkelers , with its fine and preserved corals, abundant tropical fish, turquoise clear water and a calm sea. It is a “ must do” activity when you stay at Pemuteran village to see panoramic underwater scenery and to look closely various sea fishes such as Nemo, Marlin ( clown fish) dory ( blue regal tang), gill ( Moorish idol), peach ( star fish), crush ( sea turtle) and many other sea friends.
We will meet you in the late afternoon to visit Munduk Waterfall, surrounded by pure nature situated in the tranquility of Munduk village. You can also meet coffee and clove plantations along the track down and enjoy the fresh and serenity ambience. Night in Munduk.
On your way to Lovina, we wil visit Tamblingan Lake, one of the three lakes that formed inside an ancient caldera. It is a pristine lake situated at an altitude of 1000 m above sea level, surrounded with dense rainforest and archeological remnants of the 10th century Tamblingan civilization.
Here, accompanied by local guide you will do 2 hours fun trekking in to the jungle of Tamblingan . the trek is essentially a nature walk, which provides an interesting insight in to Bali’s nature environment that will make your mind feel relax and feel back to nature. You will walk thru a lush protected rainforest area with giant old trees, animal such as macaque, black giant squirrel, birds and old temples. This tour is also combined with a session of 35 minutes exploring the Tamblingan lake by dugout canoe to finish point.
After lunch, the trip is continued to visit the famous Ulun Danu temple, A holy place of Balinese, nicely set on the bank of the lake dedicated to the goddess of the lake “ Dewi Danu” , worshiped by Balinese farmer to implore a steady supply of irrigation water for their rice field. Night in Lovina.
Lovina is a quiet and laidback coastal area on the northwestern side of the island of Bali.. But the trademark of Lovina is early morning dolphin watching activity. Out to the sea around some kilometers from lovina beach is the habitat of dolphin, and local fisherman take the opportunity to propose tour services to see dolphin in the wild with their outrigger boat. Thus , your first activity at Lovina will be Dolphin watching tour. You need to wake up early in the morning around 05.30 am and we bring you to the beach to catch the captain of the boat who will guide you out to the sea. You will spend approximately 2 hours to roam around in the sea on powered outrigger boat to see and to have the best picture of local dolphin. By 08.00 am, you will get back to your hotel for breakfast.
Around 9. 30 am we leave Lovina for Lemukih village, a hidden village which is the site of the best waterfall on the island of Bali . This is the time now for you to connect with the nature as well as with the extremely friendly people of the village. Your adventure will be started from the house of local farmer after coffee / tea break , then together with local guide you will explore magnificent paddy field of the village, hills, tropical fruit plantation, water slide in the river of which their water is coming from local water sources! After this fun and playful activity in the river, journey is continued to see the main natural attraction “ the lemukih outstanding waterfall” but halfway before , lunch will be served in a picnic style in the hut of local farmer while seeing a man climbing coconut tree to pick it’s fruit for you as your beverage. Then we will let you pampering yourself showering and swimming under the waterfall and chill out there!. Night in Amed.
We pick you after breakfast around 09.00 am and our journey begin with Lempuyang, Bali’s most highly regarded temples located on the slope of mount Lempuyang , 800 meters above sea level , believed as one of the most sacred natural points in Bali. you can expect amazing view and great pictures here! Then to “ Tirtha Gangga” another Royal Water Palace , built by the king of Karangasem called I gusti Anglurah Ketut Karangasem in 1948. It is an aquatic palace with many pools and beautiful garden flanked by hills and rice field. We proceed then to visit a beautiful hidden beach called “ Virgin beach” a less crowded white sandy beach with a clear blue sea water and exquisite for swimming! It is also ideal place for sun bathing! Lunch with seafood menu will be served here at local restaurant. Night in Sidemen.
The next morning , on your way to Ubud, we propose you to do Rafting at Telaga waja river, one of the longest river on east Bali. The river flows along the expanse of green rice field, valleys, hills, cliffs and of course, waterfalls. With its specific current, clean water, natural views and soft rapid current have made it the best rafting point in Bali. Then we drive up to Kintamani Village to witness one of the most beautiful caldera in the world with its active volcano and its crater lake of Batur. Next , would be Tegalalang Village famous for its beautiful scene of rice paddies which offer you a perfect Bali photo opportunity with its dramatic view. Night in Ubud.
First stop is at Batubulan Village for Barong dance performance, a dance –drama that tells the story of an eternal fight of “the Dharma “positive energy, represented by Barong (local minor god resemble to a tiger, believed as the guardian of the mystical forest by Balinese) against” the Adharma ” the destructive power of the nature Rangda, horrible looking monster who is anytime ready to devour those who neglect the local religious activity.
Afterwards, we will visit Traditional Balinese House Compound to see the unique architecture of the building, the layout and perhaps encounter with the dweller while preparing their daily offering called Canang Sari, small offering made from coconut leaves and flowers in different colors.
The other interesting site of the day is Monkey forest in Ubud. The ubud resident view the monkey forest as an important spiritual, economic, educational and conservation center for the village. The forest is inhabited by around 700 monkeys, you can also see 186 species of trees in 12,5 hectares of forest which allows you to get an abundant of fresh air. Before hotel , we will make a stop at Ubud Art Market, an artisan/ handicraft / tourist market in the center of Ubud. Night in Ubud.
Jimbaran is your “last but not least” village to visit of your roundtrip package in Bali. On the way, we will stop at Serangan village used to be known as Bali turtle island due to being a frequent nesting ground for green sea turtle. It is now days relatively known as the center of fishing industry and water sport activities. But here , we could also visit the biggest turtle conservation and education center in Bali where you can learn a few things about turtle.
Next, is kedonganan village to see Bali’s main seaside marketplace where fishing boats land daily and haul off their fresh catches. It is a place where a huge range of fish available daily. After lunch at seafood restaurant nearby, we continue to Padang Padang beach, one of Bali’s most famous surf sport. It is a beach with exotic setting, a fine white sand, blue waters and a distant horizon.
Afterwards is the famous magnificent sea temple “ Pura Luhur Uluwatu” which perch on the tip of coastal cliff overlooking mystical Indian Ocean. An Ideal place to see the sun that is about to set! Night in Jimbaran.
